A phone in the cloud
Apps, accounts, and working files live inside a persistent remote Android environment.
IN DEVELOPMENT A DIFFERENT KIND OF PHONE
A dedicated Android phone for every case or project. Your apps and their data live remotely. The handset you carry is the window into them.
Designed for less sensitive data on the device in your pocket.

01 — THE IDEA
ThinPhone runs Android on a server and streams its display to your device. You interact with the remote phone through touch and keyboard input.
Apps, accounts, and working files live inside a persistent remote Android environment.
The Android client displays the remote phone. Camera and microphone sharing require your permission.
Disconnecting the viewer preserves the remote workspace. Your next session returns to the same phone.
02 — BUILT AROUND YOUR WORK
The planned service brings dedicated workspaces to firms, teams, and individuals.
Give each case a dedicated Android environment, with access for the people assigned to it.
Planned organization capabilities
Separate a client engagement or company project from personal apps and other work.
Planned organization capabilities
Keep a persistent Android workspace in the cloud and connect from the handset you carry.

03 — PRIVACY, PRECISELY
The goal is to minimize sensitive data retained on the carried device. That is a specific engineering objective, and one we intend to test.
Read the important detailsRemote apps and their saved data live on the server. Optional local calls, SMS/MMS, and drafts can leave records on the handset.
Encrypted host storage and backups, with separate case keys, are part of the planned service. Production deployment and verification are still ahead.
A live session can show remote information. Server access and device artifacts remain considerations. ThinPhone does not promise forensic erasure or immunity from legal access.
A FEW IMPORTANT DETAILS
ThinPhone is in development. The existing prototype runs a persistent remote Android phone with an Android client. Customer accounts, organization management, case isolation, and billing are planned. There is no paid service available from this website yet.
A cloud Android instance and a telephone number are separate things. A dedicated number is not currently included. Messaging apps may require their own registration and accounts.
Yes. The prototype offers optional local calling and SMS/MMS through your handset’s carrier. Local messages, attachments, drafts, and operating-system call records can remain on that handset. These are separate from your remote workspace.
The prototype uses AOSP Android without Google Play Services. Some apps require certified hardware or services this environment does not provide. Compatibility, registration, and calling must be verified for the apps you need.
That is not a claim ThinPhone makes. The design aims to minimize retained remote content, but the operating system, keyboard, memory, and browser components may leave artifacts. An active session can expose remote information. Physical-device testing and independent assessment are needed before stronger claims.
